QIN Ling

​秦岭

Qin Ling is the Head of the Glass and Ceramics Department at Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and a member of the Glass Professional Art Committee of China. He was also a visiting scholar in the Glass and Ceramics Department at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States. Since 2006, he has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in over 60 academic group exhibitions both in China and internationally, earning multiple prestigious awards.

Qin Ling's works have been widely recognized and collected by museums and art institutions. In 2016, he designed and produced the public art installation Starry Sky for the Shanghai Tower International Conference Center. In 2018, he completed Ink Stone, the largest outdoor glass public art piece in China, which was awarded the Silver Prize at the 12th International Design Awards (IDA) in the United States.
